The Airtel-backed RCS platform will implement real-time security checks to verify sender identities using telecom-based business verification systems. It will meticulously adhere to users' Do Not Disturb (DND) preferences by categorizing messages as promotional or transactional and enforcing necessary limits. The system is engineered with multiple layers of threat detection to block harmful links and prevent spam business messages from reaching recipients. Additionally, it will restrict communications from senders flagged by AI-based spam detection tools developed by both Google and Airtel.

Messages transmitted through this enhanced RCS platform will be accessible directly within the Google Messages app, which is widely available on most Android smartphones.
