Atonemo Streamplayer Launches in India at Rs 14,999

Swedish audio company Atonemo has made its debut in the Indian market with its first product, the Streamplayer. This compact audio streamer is designed to bring modern wireless functionality to any speaker system, regardless of its age or brand. The company has partnered with Mumbai-based luxury audio distributor Luxury Personified to manage its local operations. The Streamplayer is priced at Rs 14,999 and is available on Amazon India as well as through select premium audio retailers across the country.

Product Development and Features

Developed in Stockholm by childhood friends Leo Ballesteros Garriga and Noah Constantinou, the Streamplayer connects to existing speakers or amplifiers via a 3.5mm analog output or optical S/PDIF. It supports AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect all in one device. The core proposition is straightforward: if your speakers sound great but lack streaming capabilities, this device eliminates the need to replace them.

The device supports high-resolution 24-bit/192kHz audio playback and operates on Wi-Fi 6. It also enables multi-room audio across different speaker brands, a feature typically restricted to single-ecosystem setups.

Market Reception and Expert Opinions

CEO Leo Ballesteros Garriga commented, "India is one of the most exciting and rapidly evolving audio markets globally." He noted that the company sees strong demand among Indian consumers for products that combine design with performance. Luv Malik of Luxury Personified described the Streamplayer as "a beautifully designed solution that solves a real consumer problem," emphasizing that it allows users to revive existing speakers without being locked into one ecosystem.
