The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially commenced the registration process for the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 session. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications through the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in.

Exam Overview

The Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. This exam is designed to determine the eligibility of Indian candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, admission to PhD programmes, or a combination of these in universities and colleges across the country.

  • Exam dates: July 17 and 18, 2026

Exam Schedule

The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will take place from 9 AM to 12 Noon, while the second shift will be held from 3 PM to 6 PM. The duration of the exam is three hours.

  • Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
