The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially commenced the admission process for the July 2026 academic session. Students from across the country can now apply for a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and PhD programmes offered by the university.

The registration process began on May 25, 2026, and interested candidates can submit their applications until July 15, 2026. IGNOU offers admissions in both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online modes for the July 2026 session. IGNOU June 2026 TEE Admit Card Released
Meanwhile, IGNOU has also released the admit cards for the June 2026 Term-End Examination (TEE). Students can download their hall tickets from the official Samarth portal by logging in with their registered Login ID. The admit card contains important details such as candidate information, exam dates, exam centre details, important instructions, and documents required on exam day.
Students have been advised to carefully verify all details mentioned on the hall ticket and immediately report any discrepancy to the university authorities. The IGNOU June 2026 Term-End Exams are scheduled to begin from June 1, 2026. IGNOU has also clarified that requests for change of examination centre will not be accepted. Candidates must appear for the exams only at the centre mentioned on their admit card.
