Key Details of the Comment Editing Capability
As detailed in the company's announcement, the editing window is strictly limited to 15 minutes following the initial comment post. During this brief period, users possess the flexibility to make multiple revisions to their text, thereby encouraging more dynamic and accurate conversations across the platform.
The ability to edit Instagram comments is now being deployed globally, marking a departure from the previous cumbersome process where corrections necessitated complete deletion. The Instagram Plus subscription reportedly offers an array of exclusive features designed to appeal to regular users. Enhancements primarily focus on the platform's immensely popular Stories feature. Subscribers gain the ability to view Stories anonymously, access analytics such as rewatch counts for their own posts, and create unlimited custom audience lists that extend beyond the standard Close Friends option.
Additional perks include extending a Story's lifespan to 48 hours instead of the standard 24, highlighting one Story weekly at the top of followers' feeds, and sending animated "Superlikes" to denote heightened engagement.
