The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Mangaluru division, has introduced additional city bus services from Mangaluru Junction railway station (Padil) to various parts of the city. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity and convenience for passengers arriving at the railway station.
New Routes and Timings
According to a statement issued by the KSRTC Mangaluru senior divisional controller, the Mangaluru-3rd Depot is now operating city transport services connecting the railway station to Kateel, Bokkapatna, State Bank, and Kodikal routes.
Kateel Route
Buses from Mangaluru Junction railway station (Padil) to Kateel will operate at 6:55 am and 10:45 am, passing through Kulur, Surathkal, Chokkabettu, Katipalla, Shibaroor, and Balavinagudde.
Bokkapatna Route
Services to Bokkapatna will run at 8:45 am, 10:15 am, 11:45 am, 1:30 pm, 3:20 pm, 5:00 pm, and 6:30 pm, covering Kankanady, Jyoti, PVS, Lalbagh, Sultan Battery, Amrutha Vidyalaya, and Bolar.
State Bank Route
Buses to State Bank will be available at 1:00 pm, 1:25 pm, 2:40 pm, 3:00 pm, and 5:00 pm via Padil, Maroli, Nantoor, Kadri, and Jyothi.
Kodikal Route
Services to Kodikal will operate at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 9:50 am, 11:00 am, 12:15 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm, through Padil, Maroli, Kankanady Market, Mallikatte, KPT, Lalbagh, Urva Store, and Kottara.
