Mysuru MNC Employee Hanging Death Note Accuses Colleagues

A 43-year-old employee working for a multinational corporation in the fast-moving consumer goods sector was discovered hanging inside the factory located in the Nanjangud industrial area on Wednesday. The deceased, identified as Kumaraswamy, left a death note accusing three of his colleagues of harassment and urged authorities to take action against them for driving him to take the extreme step. The Nanjangud town police are currently investigating the incident.

Details of the Incident

According to Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baladandi, Kumaraswamy took the drastic step inside the factory premises in the Nanjangud industrial area on Wednesday afternoon. The Nanjangud town police have registered a case of abetment of suicide and are conducting a thorough investigation, he stated.

The deceased was a resident of Kappasoge village in Nanjangud taluk. Police reported that he had been working as a part-time employee at the factory for approximately 23 years. On Wednesday, he left home for work as usual. However, around 3:00 PM, he was found hanging in a laboratory within the factory premises.

Discovery and Police Response

Sometime later, co-workers noticed the body and informed the authorities, who then alerted the police. Upon arriving at the scene, police took custody of the body and recovered a death note. In the note, Kumaraswamy blamed three individuals for his death and urged the police to take action against them. The note was addressed to the circle inspector of police.

Family Demands

Family members who arrived at the spot demanded the arrest of the three individuals mentioned in the death note and called for strict action against them. They also sought appropriate compensation and a permanent job at the factory for the deceased’s son. The family insisted that they would not allow the body to be sent for postmortem until their demands were addressed.

The police are continuing their investigation into the matter, and further details are awaited.
