The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) staged a protest outside the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) headquarters on Thursday, demanding a transparent evaluation system. The protesters alleged that discrepancies in the marking process had caused widespread anxiety among students and parents.
Demand for Accountability
The student body called for accountability from CBSE officials, insisting that the board must address irregularities in the evaluation process. According to NSUI representatives, many students have faced unfair grading, which could impact their academic futures.
Protest Highlights
Dozens of students gathered at the CBSE office in Delhi, carrying placards and raising slogans. They urged the board to implement a more transparent system, including the release of detailed mark sheets and answer scripts. The protest remained peaceful, with no incidents reported.
CBSE has yet to issue an official response to the allegations. However, sources indicate that the board is reviewing its evaluation procedures to ensure fairness. The NSUI has threatened further action if their demands are not met.
