OnePlus has officially launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro, in China. The device comes with a massive 8000mAh battery, a 1.5K AMOLED display, and the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. It is positioned as a performance-centric phone with a focus on battery life and display quality.
Display and Design
The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports HDR10+ and offers a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The phone has a punch-hole cutout for the front camera and slim bezels. It is available in two color options: Midnight Black and Aurora Green.
Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, built on a 4nm process. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14 on top. It also features a vapor chamber cooling system for sustained performance.
Camera System
The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro sports a dual rear camera setup: a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera. The camera app includes features like Night Mode, Portrait Mode, and 4K video recording at 30fps.
Battery and Charging
One of the standout features is the 8000mAh battery, which supports 100W wired fast charging. The company claims that the phone can charge from 0 to 50% in just 15 minutes. It also supports reverse wired charging.
Connectivity and Sensors
The device includes 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a proximity sensor, and a compass.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro is priced at CNY 2,299 for the 8GB+128GB variant, CNY 2,599 for the 12GB+256GB model, and CNY 2,999 for the top-end 12GB+512GB version. It will go on sale in China starting June 18. Global availability has not been announced yet.
