The Pratibha Setu portal, a government initiative, is helping UPSC candidates find jobs even if they are not included in the final list of recommended candidates. The portal allows public and private organizations to access details of candidates who cleared different stages of UPSC recruitment examinations but were not finally selected. The aim is to connect skilled candidates with employers looking for talent.
Nearly 100 Organizations Registered
Employers have shown an increase in participation on the platform. In total, 99 organizations had enrolled on the Pratibha Setu portal by February 2026. These organizations have access to the profiles of those candidates who had undergone the UPSC recruitment drive.
610 Candidates Receive Appointment Offers
The portal has already provided many candidates with job opportunities. As per government data, 610 candidates received appointment offers through the Pratibha Setu portal by February 2026. The offer letters were issued by organizations which have enrolled on the platform. This program offers yet another chance to those candidates who excelled in UPSC exams but missed their chance to be selected.
Expanding Employment Opportunities
Every year, many candidates clear different stages of UPSC recruitment exams. However, only a limited number are finally recommended because of the number of vacancies available. Pratibha Setu helps bridge this gap. It allows employers to recruit from a pool of candidates who have already demonstrated their abilities in one of the country's toughest recruitment processes.
A Link Between Talent and Jobs
The initiative is aimed at ensuring that deserving candidates do not miss out on career opportunities. At the same time, it helps organizations find skilled professionals for various roles. With more organizations joining the platform, Pratibha Setu is emerging as an important link between UPSC talent and employment opportunities, helping candidates contribute to the country's growth and development.
