Chennai: Thanjavur-based SASTRA deemed university and Hyderabad-based Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) have exchanged a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote capacity building, research, and training. The MoU was signed as part of SASTRA's 25th university day celebrations.
Commitment to Long-Term Collaboration
Speaking at the event, Masood Hussainy, executive director of TASL, stated that the company is committed to a long-term relationship with SASTRA. He emphasized the importance of industry-academia partnerships in fostering innovation and skill development.
Call to Address Societal Challenges
The Commissioner of Income Tax, J Premanad, urged students to use their creative and problem-solving skills to address societal challenges. He highlighted the role of education in equipping young minds to contribute meaningfully to society.
