CJP Founder Dipke Vows Agitation Until Pradhan Resigns

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke declared on Sunday that his agitation against alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment tests will continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns. Dipke stated that the protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Saturday was largely successful, with around 7,000 participants, and announced that the movement would now expand nationwide.

Protest Success and Expansion

Dipke reached his residence in the MIDC Waluj area of Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district on Sunday morning, where he was welcomed by family members. Speaking to reporters, he emphasized that the agitation would not stop until Pradhan resigns. "The protest we staged was successful, as 6,000 to 7,000 people attended it. This agitation will go nationwide. We won't step back till Dharmendra Pradhan resigns," he asserted. He added that a further action plan would be rolled out to take the protest across the country.

Details of the Protest

Hundreds of protesters gathered at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on Saturday under the CJP banner, demanding Pradhan's resignation over alleged irregularities in exams and recruitment tests. Dipke, who arrived from the United States on Saturday morning, carried a copy of B R Ambedkar's autobiography. After receiving permission from Delhi Police, he reached Jantar Mantar. Protesters wore cockroach masks distributed at the venue and held posters demanding Pradhan's resignation. They also raised slogans urging the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to stop indulging in "Hindu-Muslim" politics and chanted "Bharat Mata ki Jai."

Next Steps

CJP spokespersons announced at a press conference that they would wait for a week for the Centre to remove Pradhan or for his voluntary resignation, after which they would launch a nationwide protest. Dipke reiterated that the movement would not back down until their demand is met.
