In a recent report, Kay noted, "The Commanders aren't swimming in picks, but do possess four Day 3 selections. One of these could be used to reunite Aiyuk with Jayden Daniels, recreating a pairing that found success at Arizona State in 2019. Aiyuk led the Sun Devils with a team-high 65 catches for 1,192 yards and eight touchdowns during that season." Kay added, "That established rapport could help Aiyuk find his footing and return to form quickly following an extended layoff. Brandon Aiyuk's Injury Struggles
The 28-year-old wide receiver has faced a difficult period over the last few seasons due to severe knee injuries. Aiyuk also played in only seven games in 2024 before tearing his ACL and MCL in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs. That season, he finished with 25 receptions for 374 yards and zero touchdowns.
