Ahmedabad: Dr Jitendra Singh, union minister of state for the department of space, along with senior Isro officials, will participate in the 10th edition of IN-SPACe industry connect in Ahmedabad on Thursday morning. According to organisers, the event will bring together stakeholders in the spacetech ecosystem along with emerging startups.
Key Initiatives to be Launched
Dr Singh will launch three significant initiatives during the event. These include research clusters focused on advanced materials, energy, healthcare and medtech; the Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF); and the Centre of Excellence in AI and Innovation at the IIT Gandhinagar (IIT-Gn) campus.
Strengthening Research and Innovation
“The visit marks an important milestone in IIT-Gn’s efforts to strengthen research, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration in strategically important sectors such as advanced materials, energy, healthcare, and artificial intelligence,” said an official. The initiatives aim to foster collaboration between industry, academia, and government bodies, providing a platform for startups to engage with established players in the space technology sector.
