Kanpur: The C3iHub at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, in collaboration with the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) Bhopal Campus, has announced a five-day faculty development programme (FDP) on 'Agentic AI for Cybersecurity'. The programme is scheduled to take place from June 25 to 29, 2025.
Programme Objectives
As cybersecurity evolves rapidly with the emergence of AI-driven systems, it is essential for students, experts, and the industry to understand the role of agentic AI in cyber defence, digital forensics, security operations centres, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, as well as autonomous security workflows. The FDP aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and emerging insights into the next generation of AI-powered cybersecurity systems through expert-led discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and real-world use cases.
Target Audience
The programme is specially designed for faculty members, industry professionals, research scholars, and postgraduate students. The five-day curriculum will offer a comprehensive learning journey through key domains of agentic cyber defence and future research directions.
Learning Experience
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with cybersecurity experts from prominent industries, government organisations, and research institutions. The programme will feature interactive live sessions, hands-on labs, tool demonstrations, and premium networking opportunities.
