Rain, Strong Winds Likely in Parts of Haryana Till June 6

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast indicating thunderstorms and strong winds across Haryana over the next five days. Gusty winds reaching speeds of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour are expected from June 2 to June 6.

Rainfall Predictions for June 2-6

For Tuesday, June 2, isolated rainfall is predicted in Yamunanagar, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurugram, Faridabad, Palwal, and Nuh. On June 3, many places in Sirsa are likely to receive rain, while a few places in Fatehabad, Hisar, and Bhiwani will also experience precipitation. The rest of Haryana will see isolated rainfall.

According to IMD terminology, 'isolated' refers to 25 percent or less area coverage, 'few places' corresponds to 25-50 percent spatial distribution, and 'many places' indicates 50-75 percent of the area.

June 4-6 Weather Outlook

On June 4, rainfall is expected over a few places in Kaithal, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Panipat, Sonepat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Gurugram, and Faridabad. The remaining districts will witness isolated showers. June 5 will bring dry weather to Chandigarh, Panchkula, Panipat, Sonepat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Gurugram, and Faridabad, while isolated rain is predicted elsewhere. On June 6, isolated rain is likely in Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Nuh, and Palwal, with dry conditions in other districts.

Director of the IMD Chandigarh centre, Surender Paul, stated, 'The day temperatures will remain stable across Haryana and Chandigarh due to thunderstorm. There is no chance of development of heatwave conditions.'
