Four Arrested for Duping Char Dham Pilgrims in Bihar

Biharsharif: Police on Sunday arrested four cybercriminals from Sundarpur village under the Katrisarai police station area in Nalanda district for allegedly cheating Char Dham pilgrims through fake online bookings for helicopter, bus and train services.

The raid was conducted by a police team led by Rajgir sub-divisional police officer Sunil Kumar Singh. The accused were identified as Ankit Kumar, Bobby Kumar, Suraj Kumar and Aman Kumar.

According to police, the accused operated under the name “Himalayan Heli Service” and allegedly duped pilgrims by offering fake bookings online. Investigators said the gang used to collect nearly 30% of the booking amount in advance before cutting off contact with the victims.

During the raid, police seized six smartphones, a keypad phone, fake sim cards and several documents allegedly linked to cyberfraud activities.
