The 18th edition of IFSEC India, a premier security and fire safety exhibition, wrapped up a highly successful three-day run at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Organized by Informa Markets in India, the event, held from December 11 to 13, 2025, set a new benchmark as its largest edition ever.
A New Era for India's Security Ecosystem
The event drew a massive crowd of over 16,000 attendees, including government officials, enterprise security heads, consultants, and industry influencers. The most significant takeaway was the clear evolution of India's security landscape. The industry is rapidly moving beyond its traditional focus on commercial surveillance to embrace a holistic approach encompassing cyber protection, drone-based vigilance, homeland readiness, and integrated operational intelligence.
Security is now widely recognized as a critical layer for governance and business continuity. This paradigm shift was the central theme of keynote speeches and panel discussions, where topics like cyber-physical risks, AI-driven decision systems, and vulnerabilities in digital infrastructure took center stage, rivaling the attention once given solely to hardware like cameras.
Innovation Takes Center Stage with Major Launches
The show floor buzzed with activity, featuring more than 350 brands. A key highlight was the strategic collaboration between CP PLUS and Qualcomm, which aims to deliver AI-native video intelligence systems by early 2026 by merging Qualcomm's silicon and AI edge capabilities with CP PLUS's domestic market strength.
Several companies chose IFSEC as the platform for groundbreaking launches:
- Lemorele made its India debut, showcasing wireless HDMI solutions and AR glass accessories.
- Enview Technologies demonstrated its deep-tech platform that transforms standard CCTV feeds into actionable, real-time intelligence.
- Katomaran Technologies introduced a next-generation, cloud-native Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) platform built entirely with advanced AI.
- Cohesive presented secured unified communication systems, AI door phones, and IoT access control solutions.
- Acumen Track strengthened its portfolio with advanced vehicle-tracking and anti-theft technologies.
Analytics and imaging were also in the spotlight. Intozi showcased a video synopsis engine that compresses hours of footage into seconds. At the Sony booth, e-con Systems displayed high-dynamic-range camera modules for surveillance and robotics. The ecosystem's breadth was further highlighted by launches from CBC Corporation (Ganz) with STQC-certified cameras, Point Blank Range with tactical gear, Hi-Focus with AI interactive panels, and SRB Enterprises. Sparsh emphasized rising Indian manufacturing, unveiling products with actor Sonu Sood in attendance.
Aligning Security with National Digital Ambitions
A recurring discussion point was the synergy between global innovation and India's growing self-reliance. With the electronic security market approaching the ₹1 lakh crore mark, the sector is now mature enough to blend imported sophistication with domestic capability. As security becomes integral to digital services, public infrastructure, and urban mobility, IFSEC's role evolved into a marketplace for strategy, not just products.
Delegations from various ministries, metro authorities, police departments, and corporate security teams were actively evaluating how these technologies translate into real-world resilience and preparedness.
Concluding the event, Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director of Informa Markets in India, stated, "India's security and surveillance industry is ready for its next decade. More intelligent, more integrated, and increasingly aligned with the country's technological aspirations, the momentum built at IFSEC India 2025 suggests a sector stepping into a new phase."
