Land Rover has introduced the 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography in India, marking the arrival of the top-spec Autobiography trim for the Range Rover Sport lineup in the country. The locally assembled version of the SUV is priced at Rs 1.6 crore (ex-showroom), with bookings now open.
New Colour Options and Design
The model introduces two new colour options: Borasco Grey and Ostuni Pearl White, alongside existing choices like Santorini Black and Carpathian Grey. On the exterior, the Autobiography variant stands apart with subtle design elements such as distinctive badging, red brake calipers, and 22-inch alloy wheels.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the SUV continues with familiar engine options that are assembled locally. The P400 variant is powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 394 bhp and 550 Nm of torque, while the D350 diesel version develops 346 bhp and 700 Nm from its 3.0-litre unit. Both engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. For those seeking more performance, the Autobiography trim is also offered with a 4.4-litre V8 engine that delivers 523 bhp and 750 Nm, although this version will continue to be brought in as a completely built unit (CBU).
Advanced Chassis and Dynamics
The 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography also gets a range of advanced chassis and dynamic systems. These include Electronic Active Differential with Torque Vectoring by Braking, All Wheel Steering, Configurable Terrain Response programs, and Dynamic Air Suspension with Dynamic Response Pro.
Luxurious Interior and Features
Inside, the cabin features semi-aniline leather upholstery, along with a full extended leather package. It comes equipped with a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a Meridian Signature sound system, and 22-way power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation. Rear seat passengers also benefit from reclining seats and an entertainment package that includes 11.4-inch screens. Additional features include four-zone climate control and a powered tailgate with gesture control.
With this launch, Land Rover continues to strengthen its luxury SUV portfolio in India, offering buyers a more premium and performance-focused option within the Range Rover Sport range.
