Lenovo has officially introduced its latest tablet, the Idea Tab Plus, to the Indian market. The company positions this device as a versatile tool specifically designed for students and Gen Z users, aiming to support their learning, creative projects, and entertainment needs.

The tablet is available in multiple configurations. The Wi-Fi model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 27,999. For those seeking cellular connectivity, the 8GB/256GB variant with 5G support also starts at Rs 27,999. The top-end 12GB/256GB + 5G model costs Rs 30,999. Lenovo asserts that this offering is the only tablet in its price segment to combine such high memory, storage, and 5G capabilities. It is currently available for purchase in a single Luna Grey colour option.

Ashish Sikka, Director and Category Head at Lenovo India, emphasized the tablet's value proposition. He stated that the Idea Tab Plus delivers powerful performance and reliable 5G connectivity, enabling users to learn, create, and collaborate from anywhere, offering what the company calls "unmatched value in its category."

The Lenovo Idea Tab Plus boasts a sleek 6.29mm metal body that weighs just 530 grams, enhancing its portability. It sports a 2.5K IPS display with a peak brightness of 800 nits and a 90Hz refresh rate, suitable for online classes, reading, and media consumption.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 octa-core processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further using a microSD card.
A significant highlight is the inclusion of the Lenovo Tab Pen with every variant, facilitating note-taking, document annotation, and sketching. The tablet also integrates several AI-powered tools, including Lenovo AI Notes within its Notepad app, Google's Circle to Search feature, and support for Google Gemini to aid in research and idea development.
