Sennheiser HDB 630 Launches in India at ₹44,990 with Free Earbuds
Sennheiser HDB 630 Premium Wireless Headphones in India

German audio specialist Sennheiser has officially launched its highly anticipated HDB 630 wireless headphones in the Indian market. Following its global debut, the model enters the country with a premium price tag of ₹44,990, squarely targeting serious music listeners rather than the casual user.

Audiophile-Grade Sound Without the Wire

Sennheiser is marketing the HDB 630 as a solution for those who crave the authentic, detailed sound of a wired home setup but desire the freedom of a wireless connection. The company emphasizes an honest sound profile with clean mids and open treble, ensuring vocals and instruments are distinct and not overwhelmed by excessive bass. This makes them ideal for long, focused listening sessions with familiar music.

As an introductory offer, Sennheiser is bundling the Accentum Open earbuds, worth ₹12,990, for free with all pre-bookings made between November 28 and December 4. This bold bundling strategy immediately clarifies the product's positioning in the high-end audio segment.

Technical Prowess and Customizable Control

The technical specifications of the HDB 630 align with its premium ambitions. It supports high-resolution audio playback up to 24-bit/96 kHz via both Bluetooth and a USB-C connection. Using the USB-C cable transforms the headphones to perform more like a wired pair, while wireless listening still supports high-res streams.

For an even more enhanced experience, users can add the optional BTD 700 dongle, which allows more devices to bypass their built-in audio codecs and deliver superior sound quality.

Control is another area where the HDB 630 caters to enthusiasts. The accompanying Sennheiser app provides a parametric equalizer, allowing users to make precise adjustments to the sound signature—such as boosting vocals or reducing treble sharpness—and save their custom presets. A crossfeed feature is also included, which blends the left and right audio channels to create a more speaker-like listening experience, particularly beneficial for older recordings.

Designed for Endurance and Long-Term Use

Comfort and battery life have been engineered for extended use. The headphone frame is based on the Momentum 4 model but features a softer clamp force and well-cushioned ear pads for all-day comfort. The battery life is rated at an impressive 60 hours on a single charge, and a quick 10-minute charge can provide approximately seven hours of playback.

Further underscoring its long-term value, the HDB 630 comes with replaceable ear pads and a two-year warranty, suggesting it is built to be a lasting component of an audio enthusiast's collection.

The HDB 630 is available for pre-booking on Sennheiser's official website, Amazon India, Headphone Zone, Audio Store, Concept Kart, and select premium retail stores. For its intended audience of discerning listeners who prioritize sound fidelity above all, the high asking price and the valuable free bundle may well be justified.
