Honda City Facelift, ZR-V India Debut on May 22

Honda Cars India is preparing for a significant product update with the launch of the facelifted Honda City and the all-new Honda ZR-V on May 22. Here is a detailed look at what to expect from both models.

Honda City Facelift: Subtle Exterior, Major Interior Changes

The City facelift marks the second update for the current-generation sedan. Exterior changes are expected to be minor, including revised headlamps, tail-lamps, bumpers, and alloy wheels, while the overall silhouette remains unchanged. The interior, however, will see notable upgrades, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a powered driver's seat, and a 360-degree camera.

Under the hood, the City will retain its 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT. The strong hybrid variant, with a combined output of 124 bhp and an e-CVT, will also continue.

Honda ZR-V: Flagship SUV Arrives as CBU Import

The ZR-V is an entirely new nameplate for India, arriving as a full CBU import and positioned as Honda's flagship SUV. It features a rounded, urban crossover design. Global dimensions are approximately 4,568 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, 1,620 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,657 mm, with the India-spec model expected to be similar.

The ZR-V is likely powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder strong hybrid system producing around 180 hp, paired with an e-CVT automatic. Features include a large freestanding touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, a powered tailgate, wireless charging, and a comprehensive ADAS suite.
