Students from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) have achieved a remarkable victory. Their team, named Enigmaa, clinched the top prize in the software category of the Smart India Hackathon 2025.

A Demanding 36-Hour Challenge

The prestigious event took place recently at Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering and Technology in Puducherry. It was an intense 36-hour hackathon that tested participants' endurance and technical skills.

Innovative AI Solution for Rake Planning

Team Enigmaa tackled a complex problem statement. They developed the "Rake Optimization Suite (ROS)". This is an AI-based decision support system designed for smart rake planning. Their innovative approach clearly impressed the judges.

The team's hard work paid off handsomely. They received a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakhs for their first-place finish. This reward recognizes their technical excellence and creative problem-solving abilities.
