Innovator and entrepreneur Rahul Pethe delivered a compelling message to young minds during an inter-school and inter-college Tech Sanskruti hackathon held at Nutan Bharat Vidyalaya in Nagpur on Friday. He urged participants to shift their focus from mere discussions to practical execution, emphasizing that real-world impact stems from action-oriented thinking.

Pethe encouraged students to view hackathons as dynamic platforms for innovation, where they can build practical solutions and create lasting change. In a thought-provoking segment of his address, Pethe cautioned against excessive dependence on mobile phones and digital devices. Drawing an analogy from Mahatma Gandhi's concept of the three monkeys—symbolizing the virtues of not seeing, hearing, or speaking evil—Pethe remarked that overuse of technology has inadvertently created a "fourth monkey" in modern society.

Alongside the hackathon, a "Sanskruti Darshan" exhibition was organized, featuring 18 teams that presented models and concepts highlighting India's rich cultural heritage. This exhibition, combined with science model displays, aimed to blend innovation with cultural awareness, reinforcing the message that progress and tradition can go hand in hand.

Both the hackathon and Sanskruti Darshan events were categorized class-wise to ensure fair competition and inclusive participation. Groups were divided into four distinct categories: Classes 5 to 7, Classes 8 to 10, Classes 11 and 12, and college-level participants. All participants hailed from Nagpur-based schools and colleges, underlining the local academic community's active involvement and commitment to fostering talent within the city.

Prize distribution was conducted category-wise, recognizing talent and effort at every academic level.
