The Esports Foundation (EF), the organization behind the Esports World Cup (EWC) and the Esports Nations Cup (ENC), has launched its 2026 Creator Program, opening applications for co-streamers across India and other regions.
Billed as the largest co-streaming initiative in esports, the program comes with a reward pool of $2 million (approximately Rs 19 crore) aimed at helping content creators grow their audiences and bring major esports events closer to fans.
Expansion to 5,000 Creators
The Foundation plans to expand the initiative to 5,000 creators across new regions and platforms in 2026. The move builds on the success of the previous edition, where 3,500 co-streamers played a key role in boosting the reach and viewership of the Esports World Cup.
According to EF, the program is designed to reflect changing audience habits, with more fans choosing to watch events through creators they trust rather than through traditional broadcasts.
Media Trend
Wasae Imran, Director Broadcast & Distribution at the Esports Foundation, stated: "This isn't just an esports trend; it's a media trend."
Program Details
The Creator Program will run across both the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris and the inaugural Esports Nations Cup 2026 in Riyadh later this year. Creators selected for the program will be able to co-stream tournaments, complete missions, climb leaderboards and unlock rewards through a Battle Pass system. Rewards include gift cards, gaming gear, consoles, streaming-platform benefits and invitations to EWC and ENC events.
Supported Platforms
The initiative supports creators on several major streaming platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, Bilibili, Huya and CHZZK.
