Chennai: Sadhguru's Cauvery Calling movement will organize a "Food Forest Cultivation Seminar and South Indian Fruits Festival" at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Trichy on Sunday, June 14. The event aims to bring together agricultural scientists, progressive farmers, and experts to promote tree-based multi-crop farming and sustainable agriculture.

Announcing the event at a press conference in Chennai on Thursday, Cauvery Calling field coordinators Swami Srimukha and Tamilmaran, along with UN award-winning farmer Valluvan, stated that the program seeks to revive traditional food forest systems. It also aims to help farmers diversify their incomes through fruit cultivation, value addition, and better market linkages.
