The Giripremi mountaineering group organized a civic felicitation ceremony at the Modern College Auditorium in Pune to honor the achievements of Everest summiteers Akhil Katkar, Mihir Jadhav, and Vivek Shivade. The event also recognized expedition member Nikunj Shah, who played a crucial role in the successful climb. The expedition was led by veteran mountaineer Umesh Zirpe, whose leadership was widely praised during the ceremony.
Recognizing the Summiteers
The four individuals were celebrated for their determination and teamwork in reaching the summit of Mount Everest, the world's highest peak. Akhil Katkar, Mihir Jadhav, and Vivek Shivade were the primary climbers who successfully stood atop the mountain, while Nikunj Shah contributed as a key support member.
