Pinjore Mango Mela 2026: 250+ Mango Varieties from July 10

More than 250 varieties of mangoes will be displayed at the three-day annual Mango Mela at Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore, beginning July 10. The event is organized by the Haryana Tourism Department and promises a vibrant celebration of the king of fruits.

Major Mango Varieties and Competitions

Key commercial mango varieties competing at the fair include Dussehri, Chausa, Langra, Amrapali, Bombay Green (Malda), Ratol, Mallika, Ambika, and Ramkela. Mango growers from across the country will participate, presenting a diverse range of cultivars. The opening day features student competitions such as rangoli, drawing, poster-making, and a mango quiz.

Inauguration and Cultural Programs

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will inaugurate the Mango Mela on July 10. Cultural performances will be held each evening, featuring Nagada Party, Jangam Party, Bigpiper Group, Bean Party, Ektara Party, Kaleidoscope Dance Group, and several singers. The gardens, palaces, ramparts, and bastions will be illuminated with special lighting throughout the event.

Second and Third Day Activities

On July 11, activities include student competitions in group dance, story writing, slogan writing, nail art, and handwriting. The final day, July 12, will host group singing, drawing, Best Out of Waste, mehndi, and mango-eating contests. Punjabi singers will entertain visitors during the evening cultural program on the last day.

Food Court and Crafts Bazaar

A multi-cuisine food court will offer Indian street food, Punjabi cuisine, South Indian dishes, and Chinese fare. The Crafts Bazaar will feature artisans and weavers from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Rajasthan, displaying handloom and handicraft products.

Special Bus Services

Haryana Roadways will operate special buses during the fair, with dedicated routes from Kalka, Panchkula, and Chandigarh to Pinjore for visitor convenience.
