The scorching temperatures have disrupted daily life, with many people choosing to stay indoors during the afternoon. Authorities have also set up cooling centers in several districts to provide relief to those affected by the heat.

This heatwave comes as part of a broader trend of rising temperatures across northern India. Experts attribute the extreme weather to a combination of factors, including lack of rainfall and changing climate patterns.

As the state braces for more hot days ahead, officials urge the public to remain vigilant and follow safety guidelines to prevent heat-related illnesses.
