Ahmedabad: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) bulletin, the maximum and minimum temperatures in the city on Saturday were within normal ranges. The forecast indicates that temperatures are likely to remain similar for the next three days.
Temperature Details
The IMD reported that the maximum temperature reached 42 degrees Celsius, which is considered normal for this time of year. The minimum temperature, recorded at 28.2 degrees Celsius, was 0.7 degrees above normal. For Sunday, the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad is expected to be around 42 degrees Celsius, as per the forecast.
Forecast for Gujarat
According to the regional forecast, no significant change in maximum temperatures is expected over the next three days. Thereafter, a gradual decrease of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is likely over the region. However, maximum temperatures are expected to remain above 40 degrees Celsius during the next five days at isolated pockets across the state.
Hottest Locations in Gujarat
Surendranagar recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 43.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Rajkot at 42.7 degrees, Amreli at 42.3 degrees, and Ahmedabad and Vallabh Vidyanagar both at 42 degrees Celsius. Other cities also reported similar high temperatures.
