CCSU to Host Eight-Day Dikshotsav Festival Ahead of Convocation

BAREILLY: Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) is set to host an eight-day cultural and academic festival titled 'Dikshotsav' from June 2 to 10, leading up to its 38th convocation ceremony. The event, organized by the university administration, aims to provide students with a platform to showcase their creative, intellectual, and cultural talents through a series of competitions and programmes.

Vice-Chancellor's Vision

Vice-Chancellor Professor Sangeeta Shukla emphasized that the convocation is not merely an occasion for conferring degrees but a celebration of student achievement. 'Dikshotsav will give students an opportunity to display their talent, develop leadership abilities, and connect with social and cultural values,' she said. She urged all university departments and affiliated colleges to ensure maximum student participation.

Competitions and Activities

Professor Neelu Jain Gupta, president of the Literary and Cultural Council, announced that competitions spanning literature, culture, art, music, and general knowledge will be held over the eight days. All winners will be felicitated at a special prize distribution ceremony on June 10 at Atal Sabhagar.
