Patna: Indian Railways has extended the operation of a special train running between Danapur and Bengaluru until July 18 to manage the heavy passenger rush during the summer season. The decision comes in response to the increasing demand for travel between the two cities.
Daily Service Introduced
According to East Central Railway's (ECR) chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra, the Danapur-Bengaluru special train has been converted into a daily service from Monday to cater to the growing number of passengers. The train will operate every day to ensure smoother travel for commuters.
Schedule and Timings
The train will depart from Danapur at 3:00 PM and is scheduled to arrive at Bengaluru at 2:30 PM on the third day of its journey. On the return leg, it will leave Bengaluru at 11:50 PM and reach Danapur at 11:55 PM on the third day. This schedule ensures convenient travel for passengers on both routes.
Train Composition
The special train consists of a total of 24 coaches, including two AC two-tier coaches, three AC three-tier coaches, 10 sleeper class coaches, seven general coaches, and brake vans. This composition aims to accommodate a wide range of passengers, from those seeking comfort to those looking for affordable travel options.
