Kanpur: Programmes were organised under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative at CSA University of Agriculture and Technology on the occasion of Gujarat Sthapana Divas. The events followed guidelines issued by Governor-Chancellor Anandiben Patel and were conducted under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Sanjeev Gupta.
Two-Kilometre Padyatra and Temple Visits
A two-kilometre padyatra was organised from the university’s main building to Company Bagh Chauraha. More than 200 students participated in the walk. They also visited temples at Bithoor Gangaghat and several historical sites in the area.
Cleanliness Drive and Health Initiative
A cleanliness and sanitation programme was also carried out in the university’s adopted village, Anuppur. The university’s Community Science College distributed TB Poshan Potli among 56 patients at Murari Lal Chest Hospital, supporting their nutritional needs.
Cultural Programmes by Students
A Garba, Raas and dance programme was also organised by the students of the Community Science College, showcasing the vibrant culture of Gujarat.
