Hubballi: The police have announced a temporary traffic diversion on May 28 to ensure smooth traffic flow during Bakrid celebrations on Thursday. According to a press note, the diversion will be in effect from 7 am to noon.
Diversion for KSRTC Buses and Light Vehicles
KSRTC buses coming from the Gadag side and the railway station side will be required to stop at Pinto Circle point, where passengers must disembark. The buses will then return via Gadag Road. Other light vehicles arriving from the railway station side should proceed through Pinto Circle via Desai Cross, then through Cotton Market to reach Hosur Cross.
Restrictions Around Chennamma Circle
Vehicles are prohibited from plying around Chennamma Circle. Heavy vehicles are completely banned from entering the city during the diversion period.
Routes for Navalgund Road and Other Areas
KSRTC buses coming from Navalgund road will stop at Sarvodaya Circle, where passengers must alight, and then proceed back towards Navalgund. Light vehicles coming from Pinto Circle will be diverted via Cotton Market and sent towards Hosur Circle. Vehicles coming from Desai Cross from Cotton Market will be diverted towards Navalgund.
Vehicles from Karwar Road and Bangalore
Vehicles coming from Karwar Road will be allowed to enter Hosur Circle from Karwar Road Plaza via Tarihal via Gokul Road, and then proceed towards Navalgund or Gadag via Dharwad or Bhagat Singh Cross. Vehicles coming from Bangalore and Gabbur heading towards Dharwad will be permitted to take the bypass and then go to the new bus stand via Tarihal bypass via Gokul Road.
Chigari Buses Between Hubli and Dharwad
Chigari buses operating between Hubli and Dharwad will be allowed to take a right turn from Hosur Circle, proceed through ACP office cross, Uttara Sanchar police station, and then take the Lakshmi Way Bridge, Shanabhag circle, Girani Chal Road via Girani Chal Cross, MT Milla, Vani Vilas Circle, Hosur Circle, and finally back to Dharwad.
