Jammu and Kashmir minister Javed Rana has underscored the government's commitment to accelerating development in the Chenab region, with a focus on infrastructure, education, and healthcare. Speaking at a public event in the area, Rana highlighted several ongoing and upcoming projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.
Infrastructure Development
The minister emphasized the importance of road connectivity and power supply, noting that several road widening and construction projects are underway to link remote villages to district headquarters. He also mentioned the installation of new power transformers to address electricity shortages.
Education and Healthcare Initiatives
Rana announced the establishment of new schools and upgrading of existing ones, along with the recruitment of teachers. In healthcare, he highlighted the construction of new primary health centers and the provision of modern medical equipment.
He also stressed the government's focus on youth empowerment through skill development programs and sports facilities.
