A special programme was organized at Lok Bhavan in Shillong on Tuesday to commemorate the foundation day and statehood day of Sikkim, Goa, and Telangana. Absence of Governor, but Ceremony Proceeds
Although the Governor of Meghalaya, CH Vijayashankar, could not attend the programme, the event commenced with a welcome address delivered by the Additional Chief Secretary to the Governor, HC Chaudhary. The gathering also listened to messages from the Governors of Sikkim, Goa, and Telangana, which were read out during the ceremony.
