Jamshedpur: A tragic road accident in Chakradharpur, West Singhbhum district, claimed the lives of three young men on Friday. The incident occurred when a bus collided head-on with a motorbike near Concept Public School on the Manoharpur-Chakradharpur Road.

Accident Details

According to police officials, the bus was traveling towards Chakradharpur when it crashed into the motorbike, which was speeding from the opposite direction. The impact was so severe that two of the three victims died instantly, while the third succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.

Victims Identified

The deceased have been identified as Ganesh Nayak, Shyamal Gope, and Krishna Nayak, all in their early twenties. They were residents of the area and were heading to Sonua block on the two-wheeler at the time of the accident.

Police Investigation

Awadesh Kumar, the officer-in-charge of Chakradharpur police station, confirmed that an investigation has been initiated. Authorities are looking into the circumstances leading to the collision, including possible overspeeding or negligence by either party. The bus driver has been taken into custody for questioning.
