Rescue Attempts Local boatmen quickly responded to the incident and managed to save Vivek. However, the depth of the water and the strong current hindered the rescue of the other three. The bodies were recovered after a joint effort by locals and police.

Authorities have urged residents to avoid swimming in deep or unknown stretches of the river, especially during the monsoon season when water levels can be unpredictable.
