Ahmedabad Temperature 2.2°C Above Normal, Gujarat Weather Steady

Ahmedabad experienced a minimum temperature of 14.1 degrees Celsius on Monday. This reading shows a notable departure of 2.2 degrees Celsius above the seasonal normal for this time of year.

IMD Forecasts Stable Conditions

The India Meteorological Department released a bulletin confirming this data. According to their report, the city's mercury levels have largely stabilized around the 14-degree mark. A similar minimum temperature is projected for Tuesday as well.

Broader Weather Pattern Across Gujarat

This trend reflects a wider atmospheric pattern affecting the entire state. The local weather office predicts that temperatures will remain relatively steady over the coming days. Consistent northerly to north-easterly winds are driving the current weather conditions across the region.

Temperature Variations Across the State

While Ahmedabad remained mild, other parts of Gujarat witnessed a sharper chill. Amreli emerged as the coldest pocket in the state. It was the only station to record a sub-10-degree temperature at 9.6 degrees Celsius.

Other notable lows included Naliya at 11.2 degrees Celsius. Naliya is typically the state's coldest point. Deesa recorded 12.3 degrees Celsius, while Porbandar saw 12.8 degrees Celsius.

Despite these dips elsewhere, the central Gujarat region continues to experience a stabilized thermal environment. The weather appears to have settled into a consistent pattern for now.
