Yellow Warning Issued for Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds

In response to the impending weather system, the meteorological centre has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. These conditions are anticipated to affect isolated places across four to seven of the state's 12 districts on Friday and Saturday. Wind speeds are forecast to reach 30-40 kilometres per hour, posing risks to outdoor activities and local infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the weather in Himachal Pradesh remained predominantly dry over the past 24 hours, as reported by the Met office. During this period, Keylong recorded the coldest night temperature at 0.4 degrees Celsius, while Una experienced the hottest day with a high of 34.2 degrees Celsius. These extremes underscore the varied climatic conditions across the region.
