A 22-year-old volleyball player from Rajasthan was allegedly beaten to death by a group of men in Faridabad over an alleged affair, police said on Monday. The incident took place on Sunday night in the NIT area of Faridabad, Haryana.
Victim Identified as Ravi Kumar
The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kumar, a native of Rajasthan who had been living in Faridabad for the past few years. He worked as a volleyball coach and played for local clubs. According to police, Ravi was attacked by five men who accused him of having an affair with a married woman.

The victim was brutally beaten with sticks and iron rods, leading to severe head injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and arrested four of the five accused.
