In a tragic incident on Saturday, two teenagers lost their lives and another was seriously injured in a road accident on a national highway near Ralla Kalava in Narayanavanam mandal of Tirupati district. The deceased were identified as Yuvaraj (17) and Yuvaraju (18), while the injured is Uday, all residents of Govindappanaidukandriga village in the same mandal.
Details of the Incident
According to police, the three youngsters had visited the Singiri Kona temple on a motorcycle on Saturday afternoon. While returning home, a car traveling from Puttur towards Nagalapuram allegedly collided with their motorcycle near Ralla Kalava. The impact threw the trio onto the road. In a subsequent mishap, another car coming from Nagalapuram towards Tirupati ran over them, police stated.
Yuvaraj and Yuvaraju died on the spot, while Uday sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Upon receiving information, police personnel arrived at the scene, registered a case, and sent the bodies for postmortem examination. An investigation into the accident is currently underway.
