The special operations group (SOG) of West Kutch Police in Bhuj has apprehended a man for allegedly promoting ISIS ideology and disseminating misleading content on social media platforms with the intent to incite violence.
Acting on specific intelligence provided by Police Inspector A D Parmar, officers arrested 32-year-old Fakirmamad Isha Gagada, a resident of Lodai village in Bhuj taluka. Police investigations revealed that Gagada had created multiple Facebook and Instagram accounts under fake identities.
According to an official statement, Gagada used these accounts to circulate videos, posts, and images aimed at promoting radical ideology and misleading the public. The authorities are conducting further inquiries to determine the extent of his network and any possible connections.
