Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated that restoring safe, unhindered maritime passage serves the global interest, adding that Beijing remains in constant contact with regional powers to safeguard Chinese vessels and crew members.
China's Stance on Regional Stability
However, Beijing also issued a stern warning over continued military operations in the region, declaring that "Lebanon's sovereignty and security should not be violated" and urging all parties to respect ceasefire arrangements before the historic framework collapses.
