Kanakadasa Jayanthi honors the 525th birth anniversary of the revered 16th-century poet-saint, musician, and philosopher Kanaka Dasa. The celebration occurs annually on the 18th day of the Hindu month of Kartik, which typically aligns with November in the Gregorian calendar.
