Chennai Developer DRA Deploys AI Platform for Construction

Chennai-based real estate developer DRA has deployed an AI-based construction intelligence platform, integrating artificial intelligence across project management, quality inspection, site monitoring, procurement optimisation, workforce productivity, safety analytics, delay prediction, and decision-making.

AI Adoption in Physical Sector

Ranjeeth Rathod, managing director of DRA, stated that this initiative represents their attempt to leverage AI-driven efficiency in the physical sector. He noted that AI models are rapidly being adopted in software workflows across various functions, such as financial modelling, and are completely disrupting industries. "The shift from traditional reporting systems to AI models will improve operational efficiency, visibility, and execution consistency across projects," he said.

Benefits and Partnership

Rathod added that this approach would enable earlier issue detection, faster resolution, and on-time delivery. DRA has announced a partnership with California-based Slate Technologies for this effort. The platform is expected to enhance transparency and streamline operations across all project phases.
