GIFT City and VIFC-DN Sign MoU for Knowledge Exchange
Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) has entered into a partnership with Vietnam International Financial Center-Da Nang (VIFC-DN), a newly established financial hub, to share institutional knowledge and best practices as Vietnam develops its international financial center. The announcement was made on Tuesday via a press release.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between GIFT City and VIFC-DN covers financial services, fintech and digital innovation, capacity building, and financial sector development. It also explores opportunities for cross-border investment and stronger business linkages between India and Vietnam.
Sharing Development Lessons
Having built India's only International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) from the ground up, GIFT City will share lessons and institutional experience from its development journey as VIFC-DN takes shape. The two institutions will collaborate on joint research, publications, professional exchanges, conferences, seminars, and outreach initiatives.

MoU with Tata Communications for GCC Growth
GIFT City also signed an MoU with Tata Communications to jointly position GIFT City as a preferred destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), treasury centres, technology enterprises, and other service-oriented businesses. The partnership will include stakeholder engagement, market intelligence sharing, and business development initiatives.
MoU with CEPT University for Research and Education
Additionally, GIFT City signed an MoU with CEPT University to collaborate on research, knowledge exchange, executive education, sustainability studies, urban planning, and capacity building. This collaboration will leverage the university's expertise in architecture, planning, design, and urban management.
