Sanghrajka has been a member of Cars24's Audit Committee for the past four years and has chaired its meetings on multiple occasions. His deep understanding of the company's financial governance and strategic direction makes him a valuable addition to the board.
Role and Responsibilities
As an independent director, Sanghrajka will contribute to Cars24's corporate governance, financial oversight, and long-term strategy. His experience at Infosys, one of India's largest IT services firms, is expected to bring global best practices to the boardroom.
Cars24 has been expanding its leadership team to strengthen its market position in the pre-owned car segment. The appointment comes as the company focuses on operational efficiency and profitability.
Jayesh Sanghrajka took over as Infosys CFO in 2024, succeeding Nilanjan Roy. He has been with Infosys for over two decades, holding various leadership roles in finance and accounting.
Cars24, backed by investors like SoftBank and DST Global, operates in India, Australia, and the UAE. The company has been working towards an initial public offering (IPO), though no timeline has been announced yet.
