Krystal Integrated Services Secures Major Waste Management Deals in Maharashtra

Investors will closely watch the share price of Krystal Integrated Services on Tuesday, 13 January. The company, a top provider of integrated facility management solutions, just landed three significant municipal solid waste management contracts.

In a press release issued on 12 January, Krystal announced it will handle contracts from the Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation. The total value of these agreements stands at approximately ₹275 crore.

Focus on a Fast-Growing Urban Area

The Vasai–Virar City Municipal Corporation serves one of Maharashtra's most rapidly expanding urban regions. This new deal highlights the increasing demand for professional facility management partners to maintain public sanitation standards.

"By bringing professional facility management practices, KISL aims to improve safety, dignity and hygiene in places where public services shape daily life," the company stated.

Contract Details and Operational Scope

These contracts cover door-to-door waste collection, segregation, and transportation. They also include comprehensive street cleaning services. The project duration is five years, with an additional three-month preparatory phase.

The company clarified that collected waste will be properly segregated before transport to authorized processing facilities. The entire process involves waste treatment, disposal, and the deployment of dedicated manpower. Specialized vehicles and modern equipment will also be used to fulfill all tasks efficiently.

The project is structured across three distinct zones:

  • Prabhag C valued at ₹83 crore
  • Prabhag F valued at ₹111 crore
  • Prabhag G valued at ₹81 crore

Each zone is designed to ensure strict compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules of 2016.

Leadership Perspective on the Win

Sanjay Dighe, the CEO and whole time director of Krystal Integrated Services Ltd, commented on this development. "We are proud to have been awarded the Rs. 81 crore, 5-year solid waste management contract from Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation," he said.

"The recent order wins underscore Krystal's mission to deliver clean, safe, and dignified environments in institutions serving vulnerable communities," Dighe added.
