Motorola has unveiled the moto g77 POWER in India, a smartphone featuring a segment-leading 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 camera system, a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, a massive 7000mAh battery, and 5G connectivity, priced at Rs 23,999.
Camera System: Sony LYTIA 600 with AI Enhancements
The moto g77 POWER is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 sensor that uses Quad Pixel technology for improved low-light performance and a 2-in-1 Light Sensor for faster autofocus. The rear camera setup includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens. AI-powered features such as Portrait Mode, Frame Match, Auto Smile Capture, and Super Zoom are also included. The front-facing 32MP selfie camera automatically switches to Group Mode in landscape orientation. Google Photos AI editing tools like Magic Eraser and Photo Unblur are integrated.
Display and Durability
The device sports a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1050 nits, and Smart Water Touch technology for wet-hand use. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards. The IP64 rating offers resistance against dust and water splashes. The back panel features a leather-inspired finish in Pantone-curated colors: Nautical Blue, Fuchsia Red, and Impenetrable.
Battery and Charging
The 7000mAh battery is claimed to deliver up to three days of typical usage. It supports 30W TurboPower charging and 6W wired reverse charging. Battery Care features optimize power consumption by managing background apps.
Performance and Software
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor built on a 6nm process, the phone includes 8GB RAM with AI RAM Boost up to 24GB and 128GB storage expandable via microSD up to 1TB. It runs Android 16 out of the box with an assured upgrade to Android 17 and three years of security updates. The Hello UX includes Moto Gestures and Google AI features like Circle to Search and Gemini assistant. Security features include Moto Secure, ThinkShield, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and Face Unlock.
Audio and Connectivity
Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support are included. The device supports Smart Connect for seamless connectivity with other devices.
Availability and Pricing
The moto g77 POWER will be available from July 13, 2026, on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and retail stores at an effective launch price of Rs 23,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. An exclusive Jio offer provides access to 15 premium apps at Rs 200 per month.
